There’s something special about the energy of a new day, and for many people, starting the day off on the right foot is key to setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.
Whether it’s enjoying a cup of tea, going for a jog, or simply taking a few moments to breathe and center yourself, establishing a morning routine that works for you can help you feel energized and ready to take on the day.
For some, the morning is a time for quiet reflection and solitude, while for others, it’s a time to connect with loved ones or catch up on the news. Whatever your preference, finding a way to start your day with intention and purpose can help you feel more grounded and focused throughout the day.
While there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to creating a morning routine, there are a few common threads that can help set the tone for a positive and productive day. These might include things like exercise, meditation or mindfulness practices, journaling, or simply taking a few moments to enjoy a quiet moment of solitude before diving into the day’s tasks.
How do you start your mornings?
When I wake up first thing in the morning I make sure to say a morning prayer and then I of course, check one of my social media accounts. I know I’m not the only one who does this; come on, we are all guilty of it. Checking at least one of your social media accounts is like having your morning tea with the world. Especially Tik Tok, which if used with strong discernment, proves to be a useful resource for worldly information.
Anywho, morning vibes may fluctuate or change, and I would like to share some of my favorite quotes that I keep close at hand to inspire and uplift me on a daily basis.
“The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you figure out why.” – Mark Twain
The greatest gift bestowed upon humans by the divine is to discover and fulfill our highest potential in life.
“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but the ones who see it, live with it, and do nothing.” – Albert Einstein
Often people will see evil and just turn the other cheek, but it is because of inaction that this disease continues to spread.
“You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.” – George Bernard Shaw
The goal is to age like fine wine; getting better and better over time.
Everyday brings a new outlook, memory, and experience. You are the creator of your universe and you have everything you need. It’s not going to be easy but if you want it bad enough you will fight for it, and work towards the things you want – nothing is impossible. Surround yourself with good, strong, and forward thinking individuals.
All in all, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, consider carving out some time each morning to focus on the things that matter most to you. With a little intentionality and a willingness to experiment, you might be surprised at just how much a positive morning routine can impact the rest of your day – and your life as a whole.
