Growing up I never really had an issue with setting goals and accomplishing them.
Everything was straight forward and either black or white. Although, once I hit my mid-twenties, I quickly realized that I had no clue what I was doing with my life. Everything was done for the right now and long term goals seemed more like long term fantasies.
How was I to deal with such a weird and twisted transition in life?
Most hold on to that piece of passion that they believe will take them to the next level. Some deal with it by hiding behind fake smiles and filling their days with endless “to-do’s.” Others sulk and wallow, drudging through life, day after day – while in the back of their mind, they wish that their life would just stop.
Life can often feel like driving full speed through fog with no headlights; a disaster waiting to happen. While on the other hand, it’s filled with past life experiences that have shaped and molded you into the person you are today.
I commend everyone that’s still going, for continually growing in an impossible society. Do not be afraid to take risks and venture into the unknown. Even though you may feel lost, ask for help along the way and continue grinding towards your goals. Some of our journeys to success and happiness are longer than others – but think about it, Moses didn’t part the Red Sea until he was 80.
So all in all, I think this message is by me, for me, and everyone else who can relate … keep going no matter what, never look back, and never doubt yourself!
XOXO
